Dr. Kathryn E Smith Zimmerman

Dr. Kathryn Smith, DDS (Dr. Kat) was born and raised in Greensboro, NC. She completed her undergraduate degree at Davidson College, where she graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biology In 2016. In 2021, she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery with Honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, graduating with a 4.0 GPA. While she was in school, she was a tutor and Teaching Assistant for multiple courses and volunteered at several community clinics. Upon graduation, she was awarded the Academy of Operative Dentistry Award for Outstanding Achievement and inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. 

She excels in all aspects of general dentistry, but most enjoys helping patients improve their oral health and achieve a smile that they are proud of. Dr. Kat has additional training in Invisalign; allowing our office to treat mild to moderate cases of malocclusion without having to refer to a specialist. She loves learning and continues to take advanced courses and participate in study groups to stay up-to-date with the latest dental technology and treatments.
